Looks very cool! I like the colours very much.
Yeah, If you search for fractals, the first thing, you find, is a Mandelbrot one... 2nd, third and fourth to^^ Definitely overdone (although it still is a very beautiful fractal)

I'm normally not into this kind of art, but I recognise a good piece when I see one. This is both creative and beautiful, it looks like a painting. The shapes are very interesting and I really like the colors too, they remind me of autumn.

any particular reason you don't like fractal art? i'm assuming that's what you mean by "this kind", as there's no processing of any kind done outside my program. in fact, i was hoping that "this kind" would kinda be "my kind" :/

It's not that I don't like fractals, but I subconsciously classify this as "abstract 3D" and not fractals. I like fractals as long as we're not talking about a Mandelbrot zoomer in the Dutch color scheme.

this is actually just 2d, 3d attractors are in the works... but yes, mandelbrots (extra points for palette cycling) are so overdone!
